The NBA Finals opened at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio with the New York Knicks facing the San Antonio Spurs. The Knicks, making their first Finals appearance in more than two decades, won the night 105-95, and the matchup drew a star-studded crowd of business executives, celebrity fans, and sports personalities.

Ben Stiller, a longtime Knicks fan, was seen cheering in the crowd and later left the arena with his phone, capturing the moment after the win. Filmmaker Spike Lee wore the team’s blue and orange and took part in the ESPN pregame show; he has held Knicks season tickets since 1985 and was recognized as a SuperFan in 2024.

Actor and comedian Tracy Morgan attended in a blue-and-orange Knicks T-shirt and said he bought the team two pairs each of Nike Kobe 5 “Bruce Lee” sneakers in 2024. Shaquille O’Neal arrived in a white T-shirt and blue Superman-print pants while carrying a suit jacket, and he is one of the hosts of the NBA Finals pregame and postgame broadcasts.
