Alec Baldwin to Lead New Twist on One of the Greatest Action Thrillers Ever Made

Alec Baldwin has signed on to star in Panic Button, an action thriller that draws significant DNA from the 1993 film The Fugitive. The official plot description, shared by Deadline, follows a meticulously cautious security chief who wakes to find a dead woman beside him, is framed for murder, and must race to clear his name while evading FBI agents, aided by a loyal friend, a business partner and the man’s daughter, all while staying a step ahead of a ruthless Russian mob.

Baldwin will play one of the two dogged FBI agents alongside Leven Rambin, charged with tracking the runaway, who is portrayed by David A. R. White. Jeremy Piven and Ocean White appear as the father-daughter duo risking everything to help the fugitive, while Steven Bauer leads the Russian mob pursuing them.
