Alan Ritchson's War Machine Reaches Netflix Top-Ten Milestone

Alan Ritchson's sci-fi action film War Machine has dropped out of Netflix's weekly top 10 after weeks at number one, but it has secured a place among the platform's most-viewed movies. The film now ranks as Netflix's ninth most popular movie ever, pushing the Russo Brothers' The Grey Man into 10th.

Released March 6, 2026, the 107-minute picture is directed by Patrick Hughes. It follows a group of Army Ranger cadets who encounter an alien war machine during a training exercise and, with no backup, must fight for survival. War Machine held the top weekly spot for several weeks and remained in the weekly top 10 for months before finally slipping out.

Its success has joined other major Netflix action titles in the all-time list. Ritchson is best known for playing Jack Reacher and will return as the character for a fourth season.
