Alan Jackson ends touring career with star-studded Nashville finale
The time came for Alan Jackson to hang up his signature Stetson at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, where the country traditionalist closed his touring career with an event called "Last Call: One More for the Road — The Finale." The Newnan, Georgia native, whose career began in the 1980s and surged during the 1990s, has sold more than 60 million records over the years.
The first two hours of the show featured a marathon of Jackson covers from contemporary stars who shared personal connections to his music.
