AI failed to recommend sub-$500 gaming chairs for Prime Day — Gamesradar

Prime Day is coming, so I tested an AI shopping shortcut and opened Gemini with the prompt: 'I'm looking for a new gaming chair this Prime Day, and I have a budget of $500. Which three would you recommend?' The results were disappointing — two of the three recommendations exceeded the $500 limit, so they weren't useful for a strict budget search.

Gemini suggested the Secretlab Titan Evo, the Razer Iskur V2X, and the AndaSeat Kaiser 4. None of those are terrible chairs, and the Titan Evo in particular is a sturdy option with lots of upgrade potential, but Secretlab's availability and Amazon pricing make it a poor Prime Day pick.

The Iskur V2X and Kaiser 4 are things we've reviewed, yet they're not the best targets if you want to stretch your money on Prime Day. From my hands-on experience testing chairs for years, I'd point shoppers toward different options. The Fractal Refine works well for long desk sessions as a hybrid ergonomic-gaming chair, with a taller shape, adjustable seat depth and strong armrests.
