AGT Season 21 Will Feature Many Returning Acts, Judges Say

With the June 2 premiere of America's Got Talent Season 21 just days away, judges Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel and Sofía Vergara offered a few teasers about the new season. Cowell said he's seeing "a lot of people who've been on the show before, but coming back better," and singled out "one Act in particular.

A magic Act," calling the return "honestly like night and day." Mandel pointed to last year's winner as proof that persistence pays off, noting that the performer had been on the show "20 years before." He urged hopefuls to "show up again" and "show up bigger and better than you ever were." The judges mentioned Jessica Sanchez, who first auditioned in Season 1 and returned to win Season 20 while pregnant.

Vergara called the season "super exciting," highlighting contestants who returned years later "super prepared, with a bigger show." The Season 21 premiere airs Tuesday, June 2 at 8/7c.
