Netflix has a new global hit with Agent Kim Reactivated, a 10-part action thriller that mixes elements of Taken and John Wick. Released on June 26, the series has climbed the streaming charts and sits at number three on the Global Top 10, behind the Harlan Coben thriller I Will Find You and Season 2 of Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Adapted from the South Korean webtoon Manager Kim, the live-action show stars So Ji-sub as Kim Do-hyeon, a single father and former elite operative whose daughter is kidnapped. He reunites with two fellow covert operatives, and the three fathers set out to rescue her, pairing brutal skills with fierce devotion to family.

The series is rolling out episodes in pairs rather than dropping the full season at once: the first episode premiered June 26 and the second on June 27, with two episodes released each week one day apart. Audiences have responded well — the show holds an 8 out of 10 on IMDb and has been called "absolutely crazy" and "superbly done" — and the next two episodes arrive July 3 and July 4.
