Adrianne Palicki Campaigns to Play Rogue in MCU X-Men Movie
Adrianne Palicki, who played Agent Bobbi Morse/Mockingbird on Agents of SHIELD, told a SpaceCon panel in San Antonio she would welcome anyone campaigning for her to play Rogue in Marvel Studios' upcoming X-Men movie. Speaking with Nerdtropilis's Sean Tajipour, she called the part a "bucket list" role: "Also, if anybody wants to campaign for me playing Rogue, that would be cool, too.
It's my bucket list. It's my bucket list, the last one on my bucket list." Palicki has a long history with superhero roles, including a cameo as a fake Kara Zor-El in the Smallville Season 3 finale and being cast as Diana Prince/Wonder Woman in an unaired NBC pilot that also starred Pedro Pascal.
She is also known for her work on Supernatural. The MCU is preparing its own original X-Men movie after the Multiverse Saga brought back legacy mutants, and that trend will continue with over half a dozen franchise veterans reprising roles in Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars before a new generation of mutants takes the spotlight.
