Actor James Handy's girlfriend's son charged with murder

Michael Gledhill, the son of James Handy's girlfriend, has been charged with one count of murder after Handy was fatally stabbed Wednesday. Police found Handy unconscious and bleeding outside his girlfriend's home in Tarzana after he was repeatedly stabbed in the chest; he was rushed to a hospital and pronounced dead.

Gledhill is being held at the Van Nuys Jail on $2 million bail and is expected to be arraigned today at the Van Nuys Courthouse. If convicted, he faces up to 26 years to life in state prison. According to 911 audio, Gledhill told dispatch, "I am the son of man, I just killed the man of sin." Police say he flagged down officers, confessed to stabbing Handy and was seen walking through the neighborhood away from the home before he was taken into custody.
