Aaron Taylor-Johnson's Cult Teen Comedy Nears a Sequel

Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s early work spans a surprising range, from Danny Boyle’s 28 Years Later and an acclaimed turn in Nocturnal Animals to energetic roles in Bullet Train and Christopher Nolan’s Tenet. His breakout for many British viewers came much earlier, when he appeared as the heartthrob in Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging alongside Georgia Groome and Eleanor Tomlinson — a film that helped define a generation of British teenagers.

After years of fan requests, a sequel appears one step closer. Eleanor Tomlinson said, "It was really, really special. It’s just very special and it was wonderful to be a part of. And, you know, I hope they do a sequel and see us all now as old, haggard people – that would be brilliant." She added that she and Taylor-Johnson are no longer in touch and recalled working with him early in her career: "Aaron and I first worked together on The Illusionist so we go way, way back!
