The Lab Awards series combines rigorous testing in our Louisville, Kentucky–based lab with decades of hands-on testing expertise. Our lab has tested everything from robot vacuums to phones to VPNs, and in each product category we award a winner that outperforms the others in a given test, like battery life.

Many of the products we've tested are flagship devices from big-name brands and can be expensive, but during Amazon's Prime Day sales event a few Lab Award winners are on sale, offering savings on top-rated gear. The M5 iPad Pro won our first lab award for longest tablet battery life, lasting a little over 15 hours at maximum brightness in testing.

The OnePlus 15 topped both of our battery tests, showing the highest remaining charge after one, two and three hours of video playback (98%, 94% and 89%); the phone isn't available on Amazon but is discounted on OnePlus' site with the code EXTRA100.
