24 Jump Street Is in Development With Tatum, Hill and Ice Cube
Phil Lord and Chris Miller recently found success with Project Hail Mary, but their first live-action directorial outing was a big-screen update of the ’80s crime series 21 Jump Street.
They brought a self-referential comedic touch to the premise and cast Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill, producing the 2012 film that led to the 2014 follow-up, 22 Jump Street.
A new sequel, 24 Jump Street, is now in development. Channing Tatum, Jonah Hill and Ice Cube are in talks to return to their roles.
Rodney Rothman is set to direct and co-wrote the script with Hill and Meghan Malloy. Details are still emerging.
