If you work with large files, Amazon has a UnionSine 1TB portable hard drive on sale for 15% off, bringing the usual $69 price down to $59 for a limited time as part of Prime Day deals. This is a hard disk drive, not a solid state drive, and its read/write speeds reflect that: up to 125MB/s read and 103MB/s write.

By comparison, a popular portable SSD like the Samsung T7 reaches roughly 1,050/1,000 MB/s and a 1TB T7 sells for nearly $300, so the UnionSine offers much cheaper capacity at the cost of speed. The drive measures about four and a half inches by three inches and is half an inch thick, small enough to comfortably fit in your pocket.

Its exterior has a striped non-slip design that also helps with heat dissipation. It’s plug-and-play with a standard USB cable for USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 ports, though using USB 2.0 can sometimes cause insufficient power and data reading issues.
