10 new details we learned from GTA 6’s info dump
Rockstar Games released a large update about Grand Theft Auto 6 ahead of pre-orders opening on June 25, including marketing for a $100 Ultimate Edition. Buried in the new text and images are gameplay hints that suggest a very large open world full of activities, customization and collectables.
Players will be able to deposit and fence stolen goods, with some vehicles letting you stash items to sell later, a feature that could bring back burglary-style missions or add stakes to police chases. Weapon customization returns, and references to special revolvers and weapon lockers that let you “customize your loadout for any occasion” point toward a limited loadout system similar to Red Dead Redemption 2, matching earlier leaks showing Jason stowing larger guns on a sling.
