007 First Light roadmap includes New Game Plus and Bawma return

IO Interactive has revealed a post-launch roadmap for 007 First Light that includes a new story mission featuring the return of Lenny Kravitz as Bawma. A brief teaser centers on Bawma but offers little detail, though it may explain why the studio paid to bring Kravitz into the game after his limited role in the main story.

“Year one” content will add new challenges and upgrades, a path tracing update, a Nintendo Switch 2 port, a new gadget called G2 glasses, and a New Game Plus mode. That approach will feel familiar to fans of Hitman, which received extensive post-launch support with much of it released for free.

First Light is somewhat less sandbox-focused than Hitman, but still leaves room for new gameplay toys. How long support will continue and what follows beyond these first-year updates remains unclear.
