The game finishes in Antarctica after Isola Vale shoots Sir Nicholas Webb and tries to steal the HYPERION core; Bond destroys the core but Isola escapes toward a submarine. Both wake in adjoining MI6 cells and an attack lets them flee, though Damien’s forces later storm the building.

Damien stabs Moneypenny and steals THEIA before Bond catches up; a submerged final confrontation ends with Isola rescuing the THEIA core and then Bond, leaving Damien underwater and presumed dead. The epilogue at Greenway’s grave clears Bond of charges, notes a doubled MI6 budget, and ends with M warning of an “unseen hand” as the screen reads, “James Bond will return.” The identity of the organization behind Isola remains open.

Spectre is the obvious candidate given its history as Bond’s signature enemy, but Bond also mentions the CIA, Isola’s rebuttal could be misleading, and IO Interactive may have invented a new shadowy group.
