ABC correspondent Will Reeve marries Amanda Dubin in Miami
People confirms that Will Reeve, a 33-year-old ABC News correspondent and the son of the late actor Christopher Reeve and singer Dana Reeve, married Amanda Dubin, a 29-year-old event planner, in Miami on Saturday, Jan. 17.
Ahead of the wedding, Amanda's mother, Victoria Dubin, posted on Instagram Stories that she was having "a quiet moment" before the event and wrote, "The bride has just departed for her first look," adding that "she took our breath away" and that "the emotion her father and I feel is palpable." On Sunday, Jan. 18, Reeve's ABC colleague Robin Roberts shared an Instagram photo from Miami of friends and later called it "a magical night celebrating a magical couple" in Instagram Stories.
The couple announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post on Nov. 10, 2024, sharing photos of a Nov. 8 New York City proposal that Reeve later described on Live with Kelly and Mark as involving "some misdirection" — saying he disguised the proposal as "a charity event in Manhattan" and had pre-set roses, a cellist and a photographer while family waited upstairs at an "art gallery." Reeve has said the night was "the happiest night of our lives and we can't wait to spend forever together," and the pair first went public with their relationship in April 2023.
