Where to find voidhearts and which mobs drop them in Hytale

Polygon reports that in Hytale voidhearts are an epic crafting material required for mythril weapons, and farming them is time-consuming because they drop from specific void creatures.

Voidhearts drop from void creatures but are extremely rare, and you're more likely to find essence of the void instead. Void creatures appear only at night and can be found across zones — even in the game's first zone — so you can hunt them early, though they can deal significant damage and players are advised to use at least iron armor and weapons. The best way to spot these enemies at night is by their glowing eyes. The void enemy list from weakest to strongest is: Void Larva, Void Crawler, Void Spectre, Void Spawn, and Void Eye.

Based on tests performed in Creative Mode, all of these enemies can drop voidhearts, with the strongest foes (Void Spawn and Void Eye) more likely to do so; the first voidheart in testing came from a Void Larva. There is no evidence indicating that void creature drop rates vary by zone.
