Travis Clark admits he was unfaithful after Katie Bates’ pregnancy loss
Pagesix reports that "Bringing Up Bates" alum Katie Bates’ husband, Travis Clark, admitted on his Instagram Stories Saturday that he had been "unfaithful" one day after the couple suffered a miscarriage.
Clark wrote, "This is hard to write, but I owe the truth and I owe an apology. I was unfaithful to my wife. I had an affair and repeatedly broke her trust," and said, "There is no excuse for what I did. This was my failure and my responsibility alone." He apologized for "the pain, humiliation, and betrayal I caused my wife through my choices," said he is "taking responsibility by getting help and doing the work to change and become a more honest and accountable man, regardless of outcome," and asked for privacy and grace for Katie as she processes the loss.
Bates had posted a reel Friday showing herself holding a positive pregnancy test, later lying in a hospital bed and saying, "I just lost my baby," and captioned the post, "I will spend the rest of my life missing you 🪽." The couple married in December 2021 and share daughter Hailey James (born February 2023) and son Harvey Gray (born September 2024). Clark did not outline any further plans for their relationship beyond saying he is seeking help.
