Movieweb reports that Warrior, the 2011 mixed martial arts drama starring Tom Hardy, Joel Edgerton and Nick Nolte, is streaming again on Prime Video.

Directed by Gavin O'Connor, Warrior was released in 2011 and reportedly fell hard at the box office but has since become a fan favourite and critical success, holding an 84% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes and a 92% audience score on Popcornmeter. Nolte received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his performance. The film follows estranged brothers Tommy (Tom Hardy) and Brendan (Joel Edgerton) as they are drawn into Sparta, the biggest MMA tournament, and must confront each other and their pasts.

O'Connor is also developing a spin-off series titled Warriors that would centre on four new fighters — two men and two women — on a collision course to fight at Sparta, with original cast member Frank Grillo attached. O'Connor said he has been working on the project for years and is still trying to find a streaming home after attempts with Paramount+ and HBO Max did not move forward: "I need to find a home, man," he said.
