Sony exec testified she called Blake Lively a 'f–king terrorist' during It Ends With Us dispute
Pagesix reports that Andrea Giannetti, a Sony Pictures executive, testified she called Blake Lively a 'f–king terrorist' as tensions rose on the set of the August 2024 film It Ends With Us, according to a September 2025 deposition unsealed on Tuesday before a summary judgment hearing in Lively’s lawsuit.
Giannetti — identified as an executive vice president of production and senior creative — confirmed in the deposition that she made the remark and said she told Wayfarer CEO Jamey Heath it followed news that Lively had threatened to quit unless a list of demands was met. Lively’s demands included banning improvised intimate scenes, discussions of pornography, sexual experiences or genitalia, and comments about her body, weight and personal life; Baldoni and Heath agreed to the requests, and Giannetti said Sony had already invested "a tremendous amount of money" and felt the film "had to finish … or it was unreleasable." Giannetti also testified she did not recall Lively telling her that Baldoni or Heath had done anything specific on set that made her feel uncomfortable, and she later sent Lively a text praising the film’s box office, writing "Blake, $50 million!!" Lively’s December 2024 lawsuit accuses Justin Baldoni and his Wayfarer team of sexual harassment, retaliation and orchestrating a smear campaign; Baldoni has denied the allegations and asked a judge in November 2025 to dismiss the case.
