The Wayans return to the Scary Movie franchise with the original cast after 25 long years, bringing the same raunchy parody and pop-culture skewering. The film is lewd, idiotic and deliberately offensive, yet often deliciously funny; those with thin skin and delicate sensibilities should be warned.

The plot follows Sara (Olivia Rose Keegan), the estranged daughter of Cindy Campbell (Anna Faris), who works at a theme park and learns her younger sister Tuesday (Savannah Lee Nassif) is being targeted by a new Ghostface killer. Cindy’s old friend Brenda (Regina Hall) and a household of familiar characters—Ray Wilkins (Shawn Wayans), their teen daughter (Sydney Park), a clueless son (Cameron Scott Roberts) and Shorty Meeks (Marlon Wayans)—find themselves on the killer’s hit list as the family tries to reconcile and fight back.

The Wayans’ script leans heavily on racial stereotypes, vulgar nudity, and jokes at the expense of LGBTQ+ people and alternative lifestyles, alongside barbed satire aimed at MAGA and Fox News.
