People reports Robert Irwin confirmed he will return to reality television as co-host of Australia's I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here, which arrives in the country on Jan. 18.

The wildlife conservationist and Dancing with the Stars Mirrorball Trophy champion is heading to South Africa for the next season and has co-hosted the series since 2023 alongside Julia Morris. While his return was confirmed in November, Irwin officially teased the show on Instagram on Tuesday, Jan. 11, sharing a behind-the-scenes video and saying the "best season yet" is coming. In the clip he said, "Welcome back to South Africa" and promised the season airing on Network 10 will be "the most intense season we've ever had, the most challenging, the most emotional."

The announcement comes less than two months after he and pro partner Witney Carson won DWTS season 34; Carson commented under his Instagram post, "Oh I can’t wait." Irwin has been promoting his win — introducing his Mirrorball Trophy to Australia Zoo residents on Jan. 8 — and has also teased a "passion project" at the Australia Zoo and his movie debut in Zootopia 2.
