Noah Wyle’s medical drama The Pitt returns for a second season, and a new group of contestants enters a Scottish castle for the fourth season of the reality competition The Traitors.

The Pitt, set in a Pittsburgh emergency room, was praised by doctors and nurses for its accuracy during its first season, won the Emmy for best drama and earned Wyle an Emmy for best actor, the first nomination win tied to his earlier work on E.R. Season 2 is set over a Fourth of July weekend — meaning 10 months have passed since Season 1 — and adds Sepideh Moafi as Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi. The season comprises 15 episodes.

The Traitors, hosted by Alan Cumming, again assigns certain contestants the secret role of "traitor" while the "faithfuls" try to identify and eliminate them; this season’s cast includes Donna Kelce, Colton Underwood, Rob Rausch and Tara Lipinski, among others, and begins with a new group entering a castle in Scotland.

Both shows begin streaming Thursday at 9 p.m.; The Pitt will release its 15 episodes weekly until a finale in April, while The Traitors will drop its first three episodes at once and air the rest weekly on Peacock.
