Gamesradar reports streamer Ninja says his Arc Raiders runs are plagued by an overwhelming number of cheaters that most players do not encounter, and that his complaints are "falling on deaf ears."

Ninja said on a recent stream, "Unfortunately, 99% of the people that are playing this game are not even coming close to running into a fraction of the amount of cheaters that we are, so it's falling on deaf ears a lot," a point many in the community have dismissed as unnecessary complaining (via Arc Raiders Alerts). Developer Embark has taken notice of the complaints and promised "significant changes to our rulesets" as well as "new detection mechanisms" aimed at catching and getting rid of cheaters, despite the community's generally positive reputation for being helpful and friendly.

Whether or not Ninja is experiencing a disproportionate amount of cheaters is unclear, and Ninja is primarily a PvP player who is probably being funneled into servers by the game's aggression-based matchmaking. Embark's promised improvements are the next concrete step, and it remains to be seen if they will reduce the number of cheaters players encounter.
