Lizzy Caplan Joins TV Adaptation of Far Cry
Lizzy Caplan has signed on to the television adaptation of the Far Cry video-game franchise. The series is being developed by Noah Hawley and Rob Mac, and Caplan will join Mac, who is set to produce and star; no plot or character details have been revealed. Far Cry began in 2004 and is now on its sixth game installment.
Each title features a new plot and protagonist, and the TV series is expected to follow that approach, with each season focusing on a different cast of characters. Caplan is known for Mean Girls, Castle Rock and Party Down, and is an Emmy nominee for her work on Masters of Sex and Fleishman Is in Trouble.
Her recent credits include reprising Lula May in Now You See Me: Now You Don't and appearing opposite Robert De Niro in the Netflix miniseries Zero Day; she is also set to appear in the Netflix miniseries The Boys From Brazil and the horror film Drag.
