Court documents show Lively and Swift traded texts blasting Justin Baldoni

New court documents reveal Blake Lively and Taylor Swift exchanged texts blasting Justin Baldoni as a "clown" and "a bitch," Pagesix reports. The filings say Lively called Baldoni the "doofus director of my movie" and asked Swift to endorse her revision of the It Ends With Us script without reading it in April 2023; the docs quote Swift as replying, "I'll do anything for you!!" After a meeting at Lively's apartment in which Swift allegedly endorsed Lively's revised script, Lively texted praise including, "You were so epically heroic today.

I recapped every moment to Ryan [Reynolds]... You making s–t up about me and lenses. And referring to yourself as my doll. This clown falling for all of it... You are the worlds absolute greatest friend ever." The papers also include April 26, 2024 messages in which Swift and Lively discuss use of Swift's song "My Tears Ricochet With Us" in the film's trailer, with Swift writing, "If Justin was strategic he would be like no Taylor swift in the trailer because that gives you more power over the film, that’s your ally not his," and Lively replying, "You are so right…He should’ve run from your music…How stupid.
