Kelly Clarkson likely to end her daytime talk show after this season
Multiple sources tell Pagesix that Kelly Clarkson is expected to end her eponymous daytime talk show after this season, with one insider calling the pending exit 'definite' while another said it is 'likely that it will not go on.'
Insiders described producing Clarkson’s show as unsustainable in today’s syndication market; one said '[Her show] is a lot to put on, and looking at the landscape across daytime television, it’s not sustainable anymore.' The program premiered in 2019, and reports noted Clarkson had been absent while caring for her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, who died at 48 in August, 2025; sources said she has focused on parenting their children, River Rose, 11, and Remington 'Remy' Alexander, 9.
Other sources cautioned that no final decision has been made, saying 'People are jumping the gun' and 'Nothing is definite yet, and it’s a still a long season.' Sources had told the outlet in 2025 that Clarkson wanted to step when her contract expires this year, and a representative for Clarkson and the talk show did not comment.
