Published 17 hours ago, Polygon reports that the third episode of Jujutsu Kaisen season 3, "About the Culling Game," reveals Kenjaku’s endgame: to merge all of humanity into Tengen, erasing individual boundaries and forcing human evolution forward. The episode explains that Tengen’s primary cursed technique is effectively immortality — he assimilates with a new Star Plasma Vessel every 500 years to reset his body.

Twelve years earlier, Riko Amanai was meant to be that vessel but was killed by Toji Zenin, which accelerated Tengen’s aging and caused his individual identity to vanish. Tengen now manifests an avatar, says his soul is everywhere, and warns that anyone assimilated would become “a new being that’s both there and not there,” removing barriers between people; he also says his nature is closer to a cursed spirit and thus vulnerable to cursed spirit manipulation, the technique Kenjaku uses in Suguru Geto’s body.

The episode uses flow charts and graphics to lay out the Culling Game’s rules, but many concrete details remain murky and Tengen does not speculate on Kenjaku’s motive. As a turning point for the story, the episode raises the stakes: with Gojo sealed in the Prison Realm the apocalypse is already in motion, and the piece suggests that no amount of power can stop what’s coming and that killing Kenjaku alone won’t end the Culling Game.
