Jennifer Garner says Ben Affleck played Beyoncé’s 'Halo' on repeat while filming
Pagesix reports Jennifer Garner revealed during an appearance at Diesel, A Bookstore on Thursday that her ex-husband Ben Affleck repeatedly played Beyoncé’s song "Halo" while he was working on the film The Town.
Garner asked the audience, "Do you guys do this? Do you listen to a song over and over again?" and added, "I just want to tell you something. I’ve survived this. I have lived through it." She recalled living in a rental in Cambridge, Mass., with a three-month-old and a three-year-old while Affleck was shooting and said, "He listened to Beyoncé’s 'Halo,'" noting she would be nursing at the time; one line in the report attributes the remark "Ben Affleck listens to a song over and over" to People.
Garner and Affleck married in 2005, separated in 2015 and share children Violet, 20, Seraphina, 17, and Samuel, 13. The pair have maintained a close co-parenting relationship despite Affleck’s subsequent marriage to Jennifer Lopez from 2022 to 2025; the report notes Affleck spent Thanksgiving at Garner’s Brentwood home in November and the exes met up the following month for a theater outing with Seraphina. Earlier this month Garner said the hardest part of the split was "the actual breaking up of a family," and added that time allows healing and the possibility of friendship.
