Glambot director says Jennifer Lopez wasn't rude on Golden Globes carpet
Pagesix reports Glambot director Cole Walliser pushed back on claims that Jennifer Lopez was "rude" to him during her Golden Globes 2026 shoot. "I didn’t take it personally. It didn’t feel rude in that moment," the Canadian filmmaker said in an Instagram video Sunday.
Walliser said that "a couple things added to the fuel of this idea," explaining Lopez, 56, was "just down to business" because "the carpet was closed" and happened to be facing away as she prepared for her Glambot move. He said he knew what she was doing and did not ask her to turn; the clip shows Lopez not verbally replying when asked about a move, instead turning to demonstrate her pose. Walliser said he told her she "Slayed it, as usual," she gave a little wave and continued down the red carpet with her team, but several fans flooded his comments calling her "rude," with one writing, "my favorite part was when she didn’t look at, speak to, or smile at you."
Walliser also shared the Glambot video on Instagram and captioned that he was "happy she was able to quickly stop" because the carpet was close to closing. Page Six reached out to Lopez’s rep for comment but did not immediately hear back.
