Fire TV Stick 4K Select at $17 for Prime Members
Amazon is selling the Fire TV Stick 4K Select for $17 to Prime members during Prime Day, down from its $39 list price and at a record low. The company is taking nearly zero margin on the device because every person who plugs one in becomes a Prime Video subscriber, an Alexa user, and a direct customer with a link to the storefront.
Amazon currently offers three Fire TV Stick models: the Fire TV Stick HD streams in 1080p; the Fire TV Stick 4K Select (this deal) streams in 4K Ultra HD with HDR10+; and the Fire TV Stick 4K Max adds Wi‑Fi 6E, more RAM, and ambient display features. For most people with a 4K TV and a standard home network, the 4K Select delivers the same picture formats as the Max without the extra hardware features.
The 4K Select supports 4K Ultra HD, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos on compatible content, and it provides access to Prime Video, Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, Apple TV+, HBO Max, Hulu, Peacock, and Paramount+, plus free ad‑supported services like Tubi and Pluto TV.
