A new version of Eyes on the Earth was released on May 11, 2026. It adds a share/embed feature prominently placed on the home screen and includes a new SWOT video from SVS that shows changes in river volume over the course of a year and any variations from normal.

Eyes on Exoplanets had a release on May 18, 2026 that included several changes to make the app more user-friendly, along with the usual assortment of bug fixes. In the image you can see the new “LEARN MORE+” button that replaced the circular “+” button, the new label for the Star Type in the settings menu, and new “Did you know?” text that replaced “What am I looking at?”

Eyes on the Solar System received a minor update to make the Follow option in View Options → Camera View → Follow the default setting for any event bookmark throughout the app. Examples include Cassini Saturn Orbit Insertion, Osiris Rex Sample Acquisition, and Psyche Spacecraft Mars Flyby.

Here is a short video that explains some of the changes for the month of May.
