Pcgamer reports Keen Games has set Enshrouded's 1.0 release window for fall 2026 in a new roadmap update. The announcement came as part of an anniversary update marking two years in early access and follows last year's Wake of the Water delay. Players have spent nearly 21,000 years collectively exploring Embervale, and the article's author says Steam shows they contributed 300 hours.

Starting tomorrow, on Thursday, January 22, Patch 13 goes live and enables a Twitch Drops vanity gearset; that armor can also be earned in-game by speaking to the Huntress. Patch 13 highlights include combat improvements to blocking/parry telegraphy, better projectile accuracy and text visibility, less-random exploding barrels, and stability and performance bug fixes.

The roadmap lists Spring 2026 early access updates such as an Adventure Sharing system, polish, balance, and bug fixes, while Fall 2026 1.0 plans add Adventure Sharing logic elements, new map areas with enemies and challenges, combat depth improvements (enemy behavior, balancing, variety), faster shader compilation and other optimizations, a better new-player experience, and QoL changes for quest progression.
