Elle Fanning spotted with Hellmann’s at Canter’s Deli, discusses love of mayo

People reports that Elle Fanning, 27, was photographed heading to Los Angeles’ Canter’s Deli with a bottle of Hellmann’s mayonnaise visible in an oversize bag, and in an exclusive clip can be seen at the famed restaurant holding a thick sandwich.

Fanning was described as wearing denim trousers and a sleek brown coat. She opened up about her fondness for mayonnaise, saying, "I will put it on anything," and recalling that her grandmother made mayonnaise-and-tomato sandwiches on white bread. She added, "I'm always someone at a restaurant that [orders] extra mayo on the side," and noted she eats it with fries and on burgers, often mixing mayo with yellow mustard and ketchup. "I love condiments in general," she said, and shared that her favorite breakfast sandwich includes strawberry jam.

Earlier this month, Fanning spoke about a personal goal for 2026 while at the Palm Springs International Film Festival Film Awards in Palm Springs, Calif., saying, "I'm trying to stay more present," and explaining she wants to live in the moment rather than overthink the future.
