David Beckham refused to answer questions about son Brooklyn Beckham’s scathing Instagram tirade while attending the World Economic Forum in Davos, Pagesix reported.

A Sky News reporter asked, “David, do you have a message for Brooklyn this morning?” and later, “David, are you disappointed family business is being aired in public?” The retired footballer briefly turned his head while posing for pictures with fans but walked away without responding. Brooklyn posted a multi-slide Instagram Story on Monday saying, “I do not want to reconcile with my family,” accusing his parents of being “controlling,” of “endlessly trying to ruin [his] relationship” with wife Nicola Peltz and of “repeatedly invit[ing] women from [his] past.” He also alleged being rejected when the family travelled to London for his father’s birthday in May 2025 and said Victoria cancelled making Nicola’s wedding dress and “danc[ed] inappropriately on” him at the ceremony.

Reps for David and Victoria have not responded to requests for comment. A source told us that “everything Brooklyn said in his statement is true” and that seeing headlines that “weren’t true” was the breaking point for him.
