Pcgamer reports Marathon got a release date earlier today, confirming a March 5 launch for Bungie's extraction shooter.

Bungie has assembled a wide voice cast drawn from many recent games, though the studio has not confirmed what roles each actor will play or how large their parts are. Among the most prominent names are Ben Starr — known for Verso in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and credited with roles in Final Fantasy 16 and Hades 2, plus two Golden Joystick awards and several Game Awards nominations — and Samantha Béart, the voice of Karlach in Baldur's Gate 3. Neil Newbon and Tracy Wiles, who voice Astarion and Jaheira in Baldur's Gate 3, are also listed, alongside numerous other performers named in the cast announcement.

The release date was revealed with a cinematic trailer intended to set a slightly grimier sci‑fi tone than Bungie's Destiny and Halo games, and Marathon is available to wishlist on Steam; further details on individual roles and part sizes have not been released.
