Brooklyn Beckham says mother 'danced very inappropriately' at his 2022 wedding

Brooklyn Beckham accused his mother, Victoria Beckham, of "dancing very inappropriately" on him during his wedding to Nicola Peltz in April 2022, according to a lengthy statement he shared on his Instagram Stories on Monday, as reported by Pagesix.

In the post he wrote that his mum "hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song," and said Marc Anthony called him to the stage only to find Victoria waiting to dance with him. He added, "She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life." He also alleged that his parents pressured him over his name rights, invited past partners to unsettle him and Nicola, and that Victoria cancelled making Nicola’s wedding dress at the eleventh hour.

Brooklyn said he and Nicola renewed their vows on Aug. 2, 2025, at the Peltz family estate in Palm Beach, Florida, and that his parents and siblings did not attend. He wrote he has stepped away from his family, that his anxiety has eased, and that he does not want to reconcile; reps for David and Victoria did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Earlier this month he warned his parents to contact him only via lawyers, he said.
