Bayern Munich have reached a full verbal agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt left-back Nathaniel Brown. Manager Vincent Kompany has pushed for the move after positive discussions with the 22-year-old, who is in Chicago with the Germany squad ahead of the World Cup and a friendly against the USA; the club have reportedly lined up a long-term contract to keep him in Munich until 2031.

Clubs have not finalised terms, however, with Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krosche demanding a fee in the region of €60 million. That valuation could stall or even collapse the transfer if Bayern are unwilling to meet the demand, and Brown is expected to address his future at a DFB press conference in the United States.

The absence of a formal club-to-club agreement leaves the door open for Arsenal, Manchester City and Real Madrid to intervene. Brown produced four goals and six assists in 42 games during 2025-26 despite Frankfurt finishing eighth, and Arsenal have been monitoring him as a potential reinforcement for their system.
