Apple TV releases trailer for The Last Thing He Told Me season 2
Movieweb reports Apple TV has released the first trailer for the second season of The Last Thing He Told Me, starring Jennifer Garner.
The trailer shows Garner's Hannah Hall encountering her husband Owen five years after he disappeared and introduces a mysterious crime family that endangers Hannah and her stepdaughter Bailey; Angourie Rice, David Morse, and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau return. Season 2 adapts the sequel novel The First Time I Saw Him, which was just released earlier this month, and will consist of eight episodes—one more than the previous season.
The first episode is set to be released on Friday, Feb. 20, with new episodes arriving every Friday. The article recalls Season 1 premiered on April 14, 2023 and received a 41% 'Rotten' rating on Rotten Tomatoes based on 34 reviews and a 48% audience score based on 250+ ratings; the piece adds, 'Hopefully, this new season will generate as much buzz as the first did, and provide a satisfying conclusion to the story of Hannah's fractured family.'
