Amanda Seyfried Thriller Chloe Coming to Tubi on February 1, 2026
Movieweb reports that 2009's Chloe will stream for free on Tubi on February 1, 2026; the sexually charged thriller starred Amanda Seyfried alongside Liam Neeson and Julianne Moore, more than 15 years before Seyfried's role in The Housemaid.
The outlet summarizes the plot: "Catherine and David Stewart (Julianne Moore, Liam Neeson) are a well-to-do couple living in a posh area of Toronto, but all is not well in paradise. Catherine suspects that David, a music professor, is cheating on her with his students. She hires a prostitute named Chloe (Amanda Seyfried) to meet David and see if he gives in to temptation, but events spin out of control when Chloe spills the details of her torrid encounters." Chloe was described as a "critical disaster" and "a box office flop with a $13.6 million budget that barely covered its budget of around $14 million," and it holds a 38% score on Rotten Tomatoes; critics nonetheless praised Seyfried as "sensational" with a "spooky, authentic poise," and said Neeson and Moore "elevat[e] the pulpy material put in front of them."
The piece suggests the Tubi release could prompt a reappraisal of Chloe and draw viewers now interested in Seyfried's darker roles. In the meantime, The Housemaid is still holding strong in cinemas and is expected to come to VOD and then streaming services in the near future.
