Affleck says he doesn't recall meeting Lisa Barlow after her RHOSLC excuse

Pagesix reports that Ben Affleck politely denied ever meeting Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member Lisa Barlow after she said a work obligation with him kept her from filming.

In an Access Hollywood interview posted Friday while promoting his new film with Matt Damon, The Rip, an interviewer asked if he knew Barlow after she claimed to be with him at an event and missed filming. Affleck responded with confusion, saying he didn’t remember meeting her, that he “doesn’t want to get anybody in trouble,” that it “doesn’t look familiar to me and I don’t remember anything,” and that he hasn’t been in Utah “in maybe, 8, 9 or 10 years.” He added he could have met her but meets many people at events and “doesn’t think I’m qualified to weigh in on this, whatever this raging controversy is.”

Barlow responded under Access Hollywood’s post, saying the meeting happened at SXSW for The Accountant 2 in Austin last March and posting a TikTok she said showed Affleck on the red carpet and a clip of Blake Lively. On RHOSLC, Barlow had said she missed a girls’ trip because of a feud with Bronwyn Newport and a business obligation involving Affleck and Lively, saying “I’ll be with Ben and Blake.” Affleck’s lack of recall and Barlow’s posted receipts leave whether the two met unresolved.
